Leslie McKibben, owner/operator of Kids Night In Babysitting Service, is a physical therapist that has specialized in pediatrics for the past 28 years. She has worked in Neonatal Intensive Care Units in major hospitals, in educational settings with special needs children, as well as in private practice with a variety of kids in need of therapy.

She has volunteered countless hours with children oriented organizations, and she is a proud mom of two twenty- something year old sons!



Steve McKibben is the husband of Kid's Night In owner Leslie McKibben. He is often the "behind the scenes" guy - updating the web site, helping with logistics, transportation, scheduling, etc. From time to time, especially when there are families whose needs call for multiple sitters, he helps in that role as well. Steve has an extensive background working with children, having been a coach and administrator in youth sports programs for many years as well as a volunteer for numerous youth mentoring programs.


Jennifer Dorn has over 25 years of experience babysitting both for private families and for companies such as Happy Kids Maui & Mountain Sitters.  She loves to read with the children, play games outside, and actively engage the kids she sits for.  Jen used to be a swim instructor for kids ages 2-12 and loves to be in the water.  She moved here from Vail, Colorado in October wanting to be near the ocean and in a warmer climate.  Sheis CPR/1st Aid certified.


Christie Register's first job as a teenager was working at a daycare center.  Born and raised in Georgia, she  went on to become a registered nurse and obtained a doctorate degree.  She moved to St. John in 2015.  She has a daughter who is in her 20s and also has a young God daughter that she adores and spends as much time with as possible.  Christie very much enjoys spending time with children.


Colleen McCready is a 27 year old that has been living on St. John for almost 2 years. She started babysitting when she was 12 years old, where she found her passion for working with kids. While on summer vacation from college, she worked with troubled youth at a summer camp setting and also in a residential setting. After graduating college, she worked as a family support worker to assist families with parent child interaction and child development. She has experience with working with children with special needs as well. In her 15 years of experience she has worked with all age ranges, from newborns to 18 year olds. She is up to date with her CPR and First Aid certifications.


Keara Mahoney moved from Vermont to St. John after college and planned on staying for a year--yeah, right! She met her now husband the 2nd week she was here and that changed it all. She has been calling this island home now for more than 6 years.
She has always loved kids and has been an active babysitter since first working as a mother's helper for a family of 5 when she was 10 years old.
She has cared for infants through teens for the past 18 years. She has been a regular and vacation nanny, led playgroups for 1-3 year olds, planned and instructed adventure day camps for 3-5 year olds, and has extensive in-home babysitting clients on island.
She loves crafts and usually brings her own for a fun and interactive time.
She can't wait to meet you and your children and show them how much fun there is to be had during a Kid's Night In!
She is also CPR certified.


Kelsey is 25 years old and is from Orlando Florida. She moved here to travel and try something new. She studied to be a medical assistant and is CPR certified. She has a passion for working with children and has been baby sitting / nannying for the last 15 years.


Carrie was born and raised in St. John.  She loves sharing her passion for the Islands with young minds like her once own.  Carrie has been sitting for the past 18 years as well as organizing camps and coaching.  These experiences have left her with a great working knowledge of children. Your kids will have a GREAT Night In with her!  Carrie is CPR certified.


Anna- Marie moved to St John in 2010 for a change of pace.  She fell in love with island life her first year here, her now husband her 2nd year, and has made St John her home since.


 The oldest of a large family, Anna-Marie grew up in a family ministry which worked with youth internationally  for 15 years. She has always enjoyed spending time with children of many ages and cultures.  Since she was young, she has babysat often; worked as a nanny for 2+ years with a family of four in Atlanta; co-ran a summer camp for ages 3-5 year olds here on St John.  She is a certified Early Childhood Educator with a B.A. from Georgia State in Atlanta, who co-taught 5th grade and taught Pre-K.

She enjoys dance, hiking, the sea, reading, crafts and teaching.  She loves meeting young minds, and seeing the world through their eyes. She loves life and the magic of our island, and is excited to greet your family here in the splendor of St John.
